Summary
Bornholm is a beautiful green island and a favourite for Danes in the summer. Its attractive coastline makes it a favourite for beach visits. However, there is much more to Bornholm. The island contains a large forest, spectacular waterfalls and a natural lake; stunning scenery for the active tourist. Bornholm is known throughout Europe for its outstanding efforts at historic preservation; you can trace its history back to the Stone Age from prehistoric dolmens that still stand on the island.
